Hello
Hi! Im Kanwal, a self-taught watercolor and ink artist, mom of three, home educator and an ametuer history buff who loves to explore architecture, culture, and the spaces around us. I'm passionate about sketching the everyday cityscapes that I encounter on my travels to immersive studies of buildings and structures throughout history that reveal how architecture evolved over time. Through these collections, I aim to share the moments that inspire me and the stories that these spaces hold.
My Story
My love for art started early.

One of my earliest memories is sketching with my dad at four...the feel of pencil on paper, the faint lines that guided me after erasing, and the quiet joy of noticing the world in small details. After school, I spent hours drawing the shapes and forms around me, fascinated by the lines, angles, and patterns in everyday life.

Seemingly ordinary moments were my inspiration. I remember tracing the outline of my grandmother's hand as she watched TV, mesmerized by the contrast of the weathered wrinkles of her hand meeting the sleek, unblemished surface of the remote
Those small observations became the foundation of my practice.
My manila envelope I scavenged from the recycling bin, carefully filling it with all my drawings in 2B pencil — became the personal archive of my earliest explorations. That envelope, those drawings, were my first steps into understanding the world through art.
Today, that curiosity continues in my watercolor and ink work. My studies explore architecture and culture, capturing patterns, forms, and details that draw my attention. Sparked from a desire to see both the ordinary and the overlooked
