The warm sunlight hits the cobblestone alleyway, casting golden tones across the shop’s façade and the surrounding buildings in shades of orange, yellow, and brown. People pause to enjoy cones, laugh, and take in the atmosphere, creating a lively yet relaxed scene.

This watercolor and ink sketch is a street-view study of that moment — the perfect blend of architecture, light, and daily life. I aimed to capture the warmth, color, and energy of the alleyway and the gelato shop, preserving a small slice of that quintessential Roman experience
